Location: West Quad Fields, between the Cone Parking Decks and Halton Arena 

The fall picnic is organized by the college‚Äôs Office of Student Development and Success, and has been a tradition for the past several years. It is the perfect environment for our own 4300+ students, 225+ faculty, and awesome alumni, as well as engineering, technical and business professionals from industry to establish relationships, network, and discuss career options in a casual setting.

Each year we have over a thousand people attending the picnic! You are encouraged to bring a good supply of marketing and product materials and bring as many folks as you wish to interact with our students, alumni and faculty. Because we are OUTSIDE, company participants can bring anything short of explosives and weapons, such as product samples, pictures, machines, prototypes, equipment, along with marketing brochures, business cards, candy, games and giveaways. These items offer a great opportunity to engage students and have them learn about your company and do not forget to invite your employees who are UNC Charlotte alumni! 

We encourage you to wear company shirts or hats and wear your company name tag however ALL participants will receive blank name tag and a UNC Charlotte green lanyard. (49er Gold Company Participants will receive pre-printed name tags).

Reminder: carpooling is recommended since parking at times can be limiting.  Parking is always a challenge on our campus, please park in designated areas (Cone and Union Decks are the two closes to the field). We cannot responsible for parking tickets. The Campus Map can help you with parking options.   

          

  

 

Fall 2021: new this year, employers will have pre-ordered to go lunches. We will have limit the amount of companies due to extra space that is needed between tables and if we need to move inside due to rain.  We have reserved the Popp Martin Student Union, 3rd floor as a rain location.

Cancellation Policy, we hate to have one but we do. Seven days prior to the event date we cannot issue a refund. In case of inclement weather, we will set up inside the Popp Martin Student Union, 3rd floor, however, please contact our main office at 704-687-1991 or 704-687-5024 to confirm that decision however we will notified employers ahead of time we if do have to move inside.
